Scientific Mirror Neuron Therapy For Stress Recovery

In yoga we use mirror neurons to feel and absorb the calm of the experienced yogis.

Just as a string on a piano will vibrate in harmony with a tuning fork, our mirror neurons are affected by the energy of the people around us.

Where To Place Your Mat

If you are recovering from some form of stress, select a mat position somewhere in the middle of the room.

If you are well grounded in happiness and seeking an experience of joy and bliss through your yoga class, choose a position for your mat that is in a corner of the room.

Focus on breathing in coordination with the movements of the yoga class and in coordination with all of the people in the class. Focused breathing at the very same time as all other people in the class helps to tune your energy centers.

Mirror Neurons

Our brains are powerfully affected by mirror neurons. When we are seeking answers, we naturally mimic the people that are around us. When we are certain of our path, we serve as a signpost to the people around us.

Track your sleep and monitor your meditations. Take the guesswork out of it.

Follow The Energy Of The Yogi

In the yoga class we can use mirror neurons to our advantage to specifically feel and absorb the calm and centered feeling of the experienced yogis in the class.

When you are new to yoga or find yourself struggling with stress, do not feel shy about absorbing this positive energy, you cannot exhaust the Sun by allowing more light to shine on you… and in the same way, the strong Yogis around you radiate powerful centering vibrations from within.

You do not diminish their energy by absorbing it, rather, you magnify it by vibrating in harmony - just as two waves added together will create a larger amplitude wave.

Connections Give Life Meaning

The connections we build with other people are 'the stuff of life'.

People who feel rich with
social connections live longer.

The connections we have with others is not just two-sided, but it involves a complex play between all of the relationships in our life, in interaction with all the relationships in the lives of the people we interact with.

Our Interactions Affect Many Connections

In other words, how we interact with one person will have an effect on all of the relationships in their life, in addition to all of the relationships in our own lives.
